Hey, I’m Travis

I started my career in the mortgage immediately after graduating from college, and I've been in the industry, in some capacity, for the last two decades. I ventured out of mortgage briefly for five years during the financial crisis of 2008, but I quickly found that I missed the flexibility our fast-paced industry provides.

Senior Mortgage Banker Bob Williams was my first boss out of college. As my manager, he instilled a foundation in me that allows me to consistently seek growth to this day. And through Bob, I met Brian Mason, our Regional President and Partner. He believed in me and my ability to grow Atlantic Bay's footprint. I credit those men with being instrumental to my professional successes.

Today, I'm an active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association and Certified Mortgage Bankers Society (CMB). I like to volunteer for my community when I can, including coaching, serving on boards, and fundraising for my children's recreational and travel sports teams. I love spending time with my wife Courtney and our three kids - Crews, Rhyann, and Layne. Courtney and I are passionate about following our children in their high school and collegiate athletic careers. We've spent many weekends out on the road to watch them compete.

I'm an avid outdoorsman, so my true passion is hunting. Heading out to bird hunt with my two Boykin spaniels is the perfect way to unwind.
